Welcome to the "Old Post Office" in Greifenstein (Austria)!

We rent out appartments and private rooms in the village of Greifenstein, close to Vienna. Our house is in one of the nicest places in Vienna's outskirts. Here, the northernmost foothills of the Alps meet the vast Danube river flatlands.

The region of Greifenstein provides something for every outdoor enthusiast: whether you like cycling, swimming, boating or hiking, you will not be disappointed. And if you feel like visiting the imperial city of Vienna with its huge cultural and historical progam: it's just a 20 min train ride away!

Apartments
Our apartments come with a private bathroom and shower. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, microwave, freezer, fridge, hotplate, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. We offer free SAT-TV and wireless internet. The continental beds are equipped with high end matresses for a good sleep. They either stand separate or connected to a king size double bed, according to your needs. The sofa can be turned into a comfortable queen size double bed. The apartments can therefore fit up to four people. 
Parking is free of charge and right in front of the house.
The train station with convenient connections to Vienna (just 20min!) is within just 5 minutes walking distance.
If you come by bike, we can offer a locked inside storage room for your bikes free of charge.
Our apartments have been evaluated by the tourism office of Lower Austria and have been awarded 3 out of 4 stars.

Single room: EUR 45.-- per night
Double room: EUR 60.-- per night
Additional beds: EUR 20.-- per night
Children up to age 6: free
Children up to age 16: 50% discount
Single night surcharge: EUR 5.-- per person

Our prices include all taxes and fees, so there are no hidden costs you have to worry about.

Check-out: until 10am

Hosts
Your hosts are be Eduard and Diana. We are Swiss and Spanish citizens, but we live in Austria for a long time. Our sons Urs and Nils were born in 2017 and 2019. No matter what information you are looking for: we will get you the information you need.
